Meet the installers that are the face of CAN-phantom; learn more about who they are, their ethos and what makes them an integral part of CAN-phantom.
We know your vehicle is cherished. In addition to taking you from A to B securely and in style, it's your pride and joy - something you're proud to show whether you're driving or it's parked in your driveway. Not only do we understand this but so do our installers, as they put your vehicle's security at the forefront of their work.
At CAN-phantom, our installers are an integral part of who we are. We are pleased to have our installers onboard and would not be who we are without them.
Our installer's spotlight for this week is Patrick, our in-house installer for the West Midlands and Staffordshire regions. Patrick is an integral part of CAN-PHANTOM as he is customer facing, locally installing the can bus immobiliser, and also supports our other nationwide installers with training and assistance when required.
Tell us a little bit about yourself, Patrick and how you got in to this line of work?
"I was a DJ for twenty five years, which I loved. Music has always been a huge part of who I am. My first gig was at my school prom.
After twenty five years, I had a child and so I decided to try something new that wasn't away from home as much. Cars had always been another passion of mine and so I retrained to become an auto-electrician but I still make music in my spare time."
How long have you been working in this line of work for?
"I have ten years worth of experience in the automotive industry as an auto-electrician. I have worked previously for a nationwide company that installed tracking devices on vehicle's, security cameras and other various security software."
Do you have any memories of your first car?
"My first memory of where my passion came from was in 1989 when I installed a stereo system in the boot of my Ford Cortina. It was a blue Ford and was my first car. I have lots of memories driving around in the Cortina and I remember passing my driving test as soon as I could."
If you could purchase your dream car, what would it be?
"It would have to be the Porsche 911 Turbo in white."
Patrick has been our in-house auto electrician for two months, and has become an asset to the team.
You might be able to spot Patrick driving the CAN-phantom Mini around Staffordshire.
