DIGITAL SECURITY RESEARCH
CAN-PHANTOM have recently engaged in research projects with Digital Security by Design, ARM, University of Cambridge, Digital Catapult and many others.
CHERI is a hardware solution, designed by the University of Cambridge, that prevents pointer errors, a class of error that, according to Microsoft and Google that accounts for 70% of all security issues in software.
We are also currently working with MoD’s DASA to examine the impact of the CHERI technology with CAN related systems and to verify the security claims that are made.
